USA Softball of Wisconsin

History:

USA Softball of Wisconsin started out as Wisconsin Amateur Softball Association (WASA), which was an affiliation of Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA), the national governing body of softball. In 2016, ASA Softball announced the re-branding of ASA Softball to USA Softball. Wisconsin is one of over 76 metro/state associations in the United States. WASA covers all 72 counties in the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a member of the Northern Territory and Region 8.

The volunteer board of  USA Softball of Wisconsin is dedicated and committed to the game of softball – both youth and adult; and for men and women.

USA Softball of Wisconsin, a volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization based in Oklahoma City, OK, was founded in 1933 and has evolved into the strongest softball organization in the country. The growth and development of the association led the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) to name ASA the National Governing Body of Softball, pursuant to the Amateur Sports Act of 1978.
